DESCRIPTION:The ANZAOMS 2021 Hybrid Annual Scientific Meeting is now planned to be delivered as a Hybrid Event combining the best of virtual content with face to face and social elements at a regional level.The Australian and New Zealand Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ANZAOMS) is committed to bringing our members\, delegates and supporters together in 2021 to share valuable knowledge and expertise. As we navigate the challenges of the year ahead\, to allow our Association to move forward with confidence and purpose\, the 2021 ANZAOMS Conference will proceed as a hybrid event. The virtual platform will offer presentations from leaders in our specialty from across the globe as well as offer access to information on the latest products and services available in the market. Delegates will also have the opportunity to view presentations on demand for a period of time after the event. Importantly we are exploring the opportunities for potential for some face to face elements at a regional level to enable our Members to interact. We are excited to embrace technology to enable us to bring our community together to connect and share knowledge. In light of Covid-19\, we have modified the usual 2-day event to include a half day trainee pathology teaching session on 20th August. Our formal conference will follow the next morning. This will be a hybrid meeting combining in-person and virtual meeting arrangements. \n\n\n\nGuest speakers include TMJ Total Joint Replacement pioneer Lou Mercuri and Head and Neck Surgeon Mark Izzard.
