ANZAOMS WA held their annual branch event weekend in early December. The event was held at Rottnest Island, half an hour ferry ride from Fremantle Harbour. On Friday 1 December a welcome dinner was held to acknowledge local trainee Dr David Thean’s success in his exit exam. His ”golden skull”, a tradition in WA for successful final years, was presented by the WA Head of Training, Dr Emma Lewis.
The Education Day on Saturday 2 December was held at Samphire Resort Rottnest with 22 attendees. Lectures were provided by local consultants and registrars.
